Meanwhile more and more squirrels are found close to people. They greatly prefer to live in parks or gardens in the vicinity of a city, where fewer enemies are lurking and the food is more abundant. Cheekily they adjust to balkonies and facades and now and then pilfer the seeds from the bird feeder. And if you do not threaten the cute climbers, they can become quite tame.
